Geyser Pass NE 10,100

Winds were moderate to strong NNE on ridgetops with active wind-loading on ridgetops. We were looking to see how the February PWL layer was reacting below treeline on north facings slopes. No propagation with ECT's at this site.

South Willow West 6700

Winds ranged from strong SW (in the canyon) E (mouth of the canyon) SE ( 7,000' ridgetops). Snowpack was mushy. North facing at 7,000' was 120cm with wet faceted snow on the ground in North Willow. South and southwest facing slopes at this elevation had patchy snow. No Precipitation at 1300 and pouring rain up to 7,000' upon exit at 1600.
