The slope angle was 21 deg. A similar slope facing SE but steeper likely would have been a little different and had a thicker crust at 51 cm.

Some surface hoar seen on the snow surface. Also, top layers of newest snow may have faceted slightly but we didn't look closely.

Significant wind loading above site. Very weak snowpack structure but still lacking a widespread cohesive slab. Areas with recent wind loading are of greatest concern.
