Observed human triggered cornices which created new snow avalanches on north facing slopes skiers right of West Bowl in the top layer of the new snow. Noted small new snow slides on approach on wind drifted southeast aspects. Pit was an 8 using GCS scale. 4mm graupel at 80cm from the ground stubborn shear after ECTX.

Hideaway Park

0-50 cm is the old snow from October and early Nov, it is dense and you can make a snowball with it. 50-70 cm has various layers that have graupel mixed into the snow. There are no obvious graupel layers. We did a CT and ECT. No notable results. All ECTN and CT's were Q2&3. It is a solid and strong snowpack. Our main concern is what will happen with the surface snow (1) it can easily be drifted by winds (2) it will easily facet if we have any period of dry weather.
