Upper Silver Fork, ECTX although there was an easy enough shovel shear on small grained facets below the crust @ 117cm from ground on old snow interface. Crust was friable. (GCS of 7). Stability was good, structure was poor. Cold caky snow with cold temperatures.

2022.11.20 NW 9331'

Surface faceting was pronounced on all northerly facing slopes from 5600' to 9600'. Rated the pit a GCS of 8. Dry loose snow sloughing in the faceted snow surface. Skier triggered loose dry on facets 4" deep on N facing nearby Sox's.
