Pit dug adjacent to a wide propagating avalanche that occurred sometime the night of Jan 18. Crown was no longer visible due to post storm NE wind scouring. Debris blocks appeared to be 1 foot or less in thickness. NTL terrain. Unable to probe to ground. HS > 3.5 m

Proletariat South

Revisited a previous remotely triggered avalanche from Dec 4, 2022 failing on the Dec 1 facet layer. Where avalanche occurred about ~ 60-70cm less snow than adjacent area. A moderate to strong AR storm is expected early next week with significant liquid precipitation. No weakness found on the Dec 1 PWL with snowpack tests in this area.
