Pit was located at the bottom of Bradley's Meadow just above a stand of trees.

Lab focused on density of two specified snow layers decided on as a class. Bridger range avalanche danger was considered to be low with a mostly stable snowpack according to mtavalanche.org. Wind loaded slopes exist. Stability test was not performed.
