Very obvious facets from mid November. Still softer than I expected. Looking better with an ECTP score in the upper 20's but hard to fully trust these facets just yet.

We didn't observe an signs of instability of the layer @ 85 cm in either other ECT tests or via collapsing or cracking.

pit near middle of crown where slab and HS was pretty thin...very poor snow structure

pit on south flank in drifted area and near deepest part of the crown

ECTX but able to cleanly shear the upper pencil slab along the 78cm crust when forced. No collapsing or cracking noted on the slope assessed.

there were 3 small soft slab avalanches of new snow nearby that likely failed 35 cm below the surface where I got an ECTN12 result.
