Snowpack stable on south facing terrain even with full prop on ECT. No slab on upper portion of pack. Rheam, Anderson, Dyer, Overcast, Wade

23cm light density new snow. No slab formation and no propagation on stability tests. Snowmobiles were trenching easily to the ground.

New snow skied upside down. 48 hr snowfall ~40cm. Propagation in pit below first crust in crust-facet sandwich. Extensive cracking on E-SE-S aspects. Collapsing on all aspects at lower elevations. This storm doubled the snowpack on S aspects.

large collapses in lower elevations while climbing; facets and/or SH present on all aspects up to 10500'. larger facet development @ ground (2-3mm, moist) vs other ranges

This crown profile was performed on the skiers right flank of the avalanche about 10m downslope from the crown and across from the second profile. No wind loading was evident at this pit. Evidence of old crown from January 7 cycle was evident adjacent to crownline. This avalanche was triggered approximately 125m lower on the slope.
