23cm light density new snow. No slab formation and no propagation on stability tests. Snowmobiles were trenching easily to the ground.

Ullr's Arm

New snow skied upside down. 48 hr snowfall ~40cm. Propagation in pit below first crust in crust-facet sandwich. Extensive cracking on E-SE-S aspects. Collapsing on all aspects at lower elevations. This storm doubled the snowpack on S aspects.

Game Creek fatality

This crown profile was performed on the skiers right flank of the avalanche about 10m downslope from the crown and across from the second profile. No wind loading was evident at this pit. Evidence of old crown from January 7 cycle was evident adjacent to crownline. This avalanche was triggered approximately 125m lower on the slope.
