Faceted snow that developed during the November dry period reside in the bottom 35 centimeters of the snowpack and contain 3.65 inches (91 mm) of snow water equivalent. The slab and new snow above contained 5.5 inches (138 mm) of SWE.

Site of an accident on the previous day that resulted one fatality (buried) and two partial burials. The slab avalanche failed on the buried surface hoar and dug down through the faceted snow layer to the late November crust.
