Deep snowpack, profile only

Middle of the snowpack was quite broken up, presumably from bootpacking

Pit was dug in an isolated hard slab. Present only in parts of BRT. Most of the BRT area is 30-50cm in depth.

Avalanche occurred at 48cm Layer.

Profile dug in the Lookout Ridge weather plot in a mostly flat open meadow. This is meant to be a baseline for snow stratigraphy at treeline elevations on the North side.

Profile dug in a wind loaded / saltation cone. average depth at this elevation is 20 cm's.
