Snowpack in the high elevation Siskiyous continues to be characterized by frequent precipitation and mini-freeze/thaw events. I ventured out to Siskiyou Peak to assess for potential instability on a variety of slopes in the area due to recent heavy snowfall. Interestingly, I probed numerous locations near Siskiyou Peak and repeatedly found 28cm more snow than the highest reported snowpack from Mt.
