Pit in a forested clearing above Tagert hut that is representative of maximum snow depth. Amazing to have this HS here with almost 2m of P hard slab! Dug a very deep hole to look at depth hoar which is rounding. In areas of this depth might have some spring wet slab concerns on this DH layer if it survives the weight.

Cold, hasty pit, ice layer was only reactive in single CT test, all other signs pointed to wind slab layer as layer of concern
