Practice early season refresher test pit dug near Austin Pass. Skied back to Heather Meadows lot same way. Many storm slabs on similar slopes.

Pit dug in NVSP study plot above pine creek. Sun feeling warm once it burned off the FOG.

We were not able to probe the HS due to a significant ice layer ~30 cm down.

Total HS was 300cm, I only dug down 140cm.
