Crown of avalanche probably naturally triggered. 1200 ft wide. 300 ft vertical. Avalanche broke at 35 cm. Subtle wind loading.

Triggered collapses and shooting cracks with snowmobile. Cracks were shooting 100+ feet. Weak layer fracture was occurring at 25 cm above the ground.

Easy shears 25cm down at new/old interface. Rounding DH is still present but now has a thick P hard slab above. This recipe is very concerning. Slab is strong but its built on a foundation of garbage. A big rapid load could create very large avalanches.
