Good looking snowpack.

Less deep, but still a good structure and stable snowpack. CPST 24/100 SF 90 cm's. CPST 60/100 arr 51 cm's.

Deep and stable snowpack. Great for Nov 21st. CPST 19/100 SF

Recent activity on ridgeline, small wind slabs. Variable cracking and collapsing of small (5-10') slabs on low angle (25-30deg.) terrain. Propagation above bottom crust was unexpected, shows why we dig AND test.

Stable snow here. Found unstable wind slabs, and ECTP above basal crust 500' higher.

Shady, high elevation aspect. Upper half of snowpack is from storm last weekend. Lower half is series of Sep. to October storms. Obvious signs of instability (i.e., avalanches, cracking, collapsing) confined to recently wind load slopes. Propagation in layer of depth hoar on this slope urges caution/avoidance on steep slopes holding snow from last month.
