SE aspect, open timber with minimal sign of early season snow. no weak layer or layer of concern currently but worth keeping an eye on melt-freeze crust buried 8cm up from ground.

In the last week or two there was a widespread avalanche cycle on steep northerly facing terrain near where we dug.
