Thinner snowpack around this general area than expected. Facet gardens in areas around rocks. (The SE aspect of Mt. Republic was very thin/ rocky also)

Lots of small, very subtle, localized collapses. Felt spooky.

Thin suncrust formed today on solar aspects up to 9,000'+.

No collapsing nor cracking, nor recent avalanche activity observed. Snowpit location was on a slightly wind loaded slope.
