No tests performed, good structure/pack condition

Surface slab that propagated was warm and wet at time of dig

weakest layer is not particularly faceted, but some. was a bit surprised by results- somewhat concerning- will need to watch this layer for further faceting. Interesting to see if when pack cools if it will be as reactive. Weak layer was moist.

Slope had been shot with a 2lb explosive that day with no result. Overall stability good. Higher elevation NE aspects avalanching on basal instabilities, reactive to explosives. Current weather pattern looking good for healing trend.

large talus rocks made up the ground cover which had large open spaces with striated depth hoar and some forms similar to cavity hoar.
