Pit dug close to pit from 11/25 in which same layer of concern was more mixed grains and tests where ectn's.

The Wave was scoured over the weekend. This snow is deteriorating. We could get some deep slabs out of the Wave in the future. After my CT I got a CF 4 on the remaining column. So I don't see it going to the ground. At least not yet.

I dug this pit in a wind scoured location. Worst snow I've seen this season. Bottom half looks good, but definite issues in the upper half. CPST 45 Q1 @ 70

Dug this pit to see how deeper pack is holding up to cold dry weather for the last 8 days.

A thin but solid looking snowpack. Weak layer in upper pack will easily be broken up by skier traffic before overlying slab develops.
