Big Sky Ski Patrol

This is a crown profile of a deep slab in the low shoulder. It went on a 5 lb'er laying on the snow. It was wider than what we usually see. With a very impressive staunch wall.

most of the whale averaged over three meters in depth. the left side is shallower at about two meters.

Did one ECT and one CT. Could not cut through knife crust with P-cord for the ECT.

This pit shows how our pack is deteriorating when compared to previous pits that were dug. This pit looks like a more normal Big Sky pit. Good layers, obvious weak ones, with facets spread throughout. CF 2. CPST 65 @ 60.
