at 1700 m there is a crust buried in 20 cm of fresh snow.
No avalanches activity.
main ski route was in the forest so observations are not so rapresentative of snow stability.
many collapsed plant
lots of whoomph along the uphill ski track
two stability test give us the same results: first problematic layer is localized at 90cm (from the base) and the second problematic layer is at 10 -15 cm from bottom. The quality shear in the ECT is Q3. Test confirmed our hypothesis of poor stability of snow. Avalanche forecast and instabilities are totally confirmed by our local observations.
