Pit was dug about 2 meters downhill of a rocky outcropping. Layer of greatest concern (depth 272-268 cm) seems to be gaining strength based on temperature profile and overall rounding grain shape with only some grains still showing angular edges. Strong snowpack overall.

This is a crown profile of a snowmobile triggered slide on March 7, 2018. The slide was triggered mid-slope likely from a shallow location and took out nearly the entire seasons snow pack.
