25 Short, N Couloir

No significant weak layers in upper 165 cm of snowpack. Interface at base of new storm layer shows gradual increase in density and bonding with underlying snow. Slightly softer snow 85 cm below surface may be buried NSF (rounding). DDL facets and crust very present at this location, 165 cm below surface. Skiing throughout the north-facing chute demonstrated a stable snowpack. Unclear if this shot may have slid on the Feb. 5 cycle. HASTY HAND PIT DUG BELOW CRUST AT 65 CM SHOWING MOSTLY FACETED SNOW WITH INTERLACED CRUSTS (PROFILE ESTIMATED).
