Cold day with a slight northwest breeze, temperatures this morning were 5 below.

Sticked to west facing aspect due to wind loading on east aspects from westerly winds. Main purpose of snowpit was to test the layer of facets near the ground. We found the snowpack to be very stable and saw no concerning results on the layer of facets during our CT and ECT.

A small steeper rock bulge next to the duck pass trail ~200m from the trail to the west, adjacent to Arrowhead Lake outlet. Open sky and under the top of a short ridge exposed to lots of wind. Testing and measurements were a bit hastier than I'd have liked, Tamarack has no "free" side for the most part, and I got a late start, however, I would consider most of the info to be mostly accurate.
