lots of whoomph along the uphill ski track
two stability test give us the same results: first problematic layer is localized at 90cm (from the base) and the second problematic layer is at 10 -15 cm from bottom. The quality shear in the ECT is Q3. Test confirmed our hypothesis of poor stability of snow. Avalanche forecast and instabilities are totally confirmed by our local observations.
Poor pit location because one side of pit was 115 cm deep and other side was 94 cm deep. Also, there were some rocks at the base of the pit. Small, but they interfered with some measurements
Did not technically measure wind direction, but my pit faced W at 290 degrees and snow was blowing in from the SW side of the pit.
Weird that the pack was about exactly 100 cm I need to get a better probe though, with each cm marked.
