Pit in a forested clearing above Tagert hut that is representative of maximum snow depth. Amazing to have this HS here with almost 2m of P hard slab! Dug a very deep hole to look at depth hoar which is rounding. In areas of this depth might have some spring wet slab concerns on this DH layer if it survives the weight.

Traversed from witch, Breakable Crust allot of work. Surface hoar exposed to sun melting. Surface not this 3cm laying flat, Large in size. Exit Sub peak Scary skiing. Any thing steep thin 35cm

Pit Above Crux, side walls are thin with large Depth Hoar, CT12 @ 72cm below crust, ECT 13 did not travel across column short ECT 2 1/2 shovels, Surface hoar in sun areas laying flat and melting, Surface hoar not in sun was 3/4cm thick. Wests on No name thin up top 35cm. Nothing like SB Creek.

ECTX, AK Boot No results. Layers were hard to find, Solid Snow pack. I was surprised.I did get 1 hard shear upper pack Jagged, 2 shear moderate Clean. Solo Mission. 2 skiers went along ridge line to Burch/Bues

Pit dug with Owen on gentle slope we have tow skied above cabin. 5 kicks on AK Boot Failed above Rain crust clean shear. 80cm Failure noticed when I tipped column over.
