Warm sunny day. First ride of the season. Trench town down to Facet snow, Hard travel Eric broke trail, Cracking and collapsing present.

Pit dug in wind drift. Surface snow was extremely variable within the basin.

6 nights pit profile is day 1. Snowed and Blowed every day of trip. Started High Density, Low Density, Medium density. Day one I felt comfy with snowpack. When it started snowing I was concerned with wind slabs. Mid trip crack clasping wind loaded areas, last 2 days two large load collapses. Observed 2 natural in steep and unsupported slopes into PWL November. Observed 3 natural in new snow. Snowed 24/30" by the end of the trip. Low Elevation by Scaller and no base hard to travel. Pit was dug off road. Dug 3 more pits on ski run did not see crust in snow pack. Last day ECTP 21 in PWL.
