Overall, the layer of facets at the ground was (in most places) a fairly thin layer. It was also hard to give a hardness because it was a messy mix of facets and ice crusts. The Fx's were F hardness. The crusts were 1 finger hardness. The ECT fractured on a very rough plane. Other pits in the area had similar snow depths (about 1m) and a similar weak layer at the ground. It wasn't too concerning.
