In other pits the old snow "layer cake" of facets and crust ranges from 6" to 12". ECTP scores on the upper most layer of facets were more often in the low teens.
HS was generally about 100-110 cm.
Dug about 100 from the flank of a remotely triggered avalanche. The slope that avalanched was heavily wind loaded. The collapse and cracks went about 200 feet beyond the flank.
