Breaking trail was really tough with upside down new snow and that was the main red flag.

wind loading in exposed terrain all elevations, but more up higher of course

High thin clouds with breaking blue in/out. Some greenhousing but not affecting the north-east facing side of things. Clouds built and winds increased through the afternoon.

First ECT took some force but it was noisy when it broke. Second ECT did not break at the same layer. The layer at 162 cm felt a little faceted in the pit wall. Looking at the crystals, it was hard to see much faceting.
