Humpy Peak

Profile from natural avalnache triggered by a cornice fall. Easily over 1000 feet wide, but hard to tell if it was all one slide or many sympathetic ones. The very fragile crust at 25-26 cm seems to be what is helping these slides fracture across such long distances despite such a soft slab.

Couldn't see higher elevation slopes due to clounds and snowfall. Identical test result of ECTP17 on similar layer of fx's above a fragile crust found on a NNE aspect nearby.

SilverFork West Bowl

12-20cm of new snow has added a load but not quite enough to overload the strength of the slab and Solstice rime crust in most areas observed in the upper Cottonwoods. Propagation only occurred after isolating the strength of the crust. Or with slope angles approaching 40deg.
