We dug a second pit on ENE aspect 8450' elev.: Similar structure to this pit, HS 160 and ECTN16, CT14 Q2 @ 135cm (same layer as facets @ 110 in this pit).

Strong stable snowpack.

light wind loading. Weak structure, but not enough slab to be unstable.

Also dug on ascent of west side near Tyler's, ~8,800'. HS 90cm ECTN down 40cm and CT17Q3 at ground. Slightly softer basal layers, but not unstable.
