Triggered 3-4 large, rumbling collapses as we ascended, prompting this pit. One person's skin track already ascended. We had two large collapses while breaking trail, then had two while on the already established skin track. Instability isolated to nearby similar terrain, but significant.

New snow instabilities was the main concern.
