This pit was triggered with a whumpf about 30' away. Size was R1, D2 and was 200' wide and 3-400' slope distance. Steepest part of bed srf was 37 degrees near crown.

This pit was dug 75' away from the crown where it was triggered while skinning. The bed srf was 42 degrees steep near the crown on a rollover. Size was 100' across x 150' slope distance. R1, D2. Movie at MTavalanche playlist on YouTube.
