Altyn Pk

Interesting structure on this south face, 2 notable crust sandwiches with some reactive faceted grains at 169cm(however overlaying slab is extremely strong). Basal ice and large rounding depth hoar near the ground are going from moist to wet. Slope has structure to support a large slab release but absent a large trigger or extreme temperatures will likely melt in place. Pit dug in the starting zone.1000 feet lower at 6500ft probing indicated 1 meter of depth, track still completely filled in to the lake.

Cannon 54-2

Nothing too interesting in the top meter of the snow pack, overall good stability with two crusts from early April rain events. Probed around this slope looking for crusts deeper in the pack (near the ground) did not find any significant crusts or weaknesses with probing. 2-3 meters of snow in the 6k elevation band.
