Snow pit above the Finger's start zone. Snow surface below 11,000 ft was wet in the afternoon. Old snow rollers from previous warming were on the surface on southerly aspects at 11,600 and below.

Temperatures above 0C for 24+ hours, reports of rain in Vail, CO. Upon arrival, examination of Vail Narrows revealed light snowfall w/ no expected critical loading of wet snow in the Vail Narrows, and falling temperatures.
