This is near the crown of a historic avalanche that came a few feet from SH-91. It was hard to tell but the crown from all of the Sky Chutes may have been connected. Y-Chute buried SH-91, hitting three passenger vehicles.
SE aspect crust/facet combinations still alive and well in the upper snowpack. Just not much slab on it currently and not reactive to riders. Continuing with the theme, 120cm or less is weak and full of facets.
Interface of greatest concern is the crust/facet combo down ~30 cm from the surface. Failures here could result in slides stepping down to very weak underlying layers (mostly facets).
