Roughly 30m southwest of the Ripple Creek SNOTEL station on the same aspect and elevation in a similarly open, small meadow surrounded by trees. Manually measured 25.9 inches of SWE in snowpit and nearby SNOTEL station reporting 24.8 inches of SWE.

Could still feel about 10-20cm of relatively weak snow at the base of the snowpack compared to overlying layers

Did not enter start zone. Scouted location for RACS.
