Crown profile of AS / AR triggerd avalanche. This avalanche was 30' wide, upto 4' deep and run about 250'. thia avalanche was confuned to a single wind pilow.

Pit is in location where we triggered a localized collapse

Pit was down-slope from ridge 100ft. Surface had very thin wind-skin. Winds building thicker slabs closer to ridge crest.
