In more wind sheltered areas at 11,000' on a west aspect we observed multiple collapsed, shooting cracks, and triggered a SS-AS-R1-D1-O 57cm thick slab 50' wide that ran 150'. HS 77cm, 4F- midpack, the depth hoar was 32cm deep, and the avalanche failed at the top of the fist hard depth hoar.

Sloped collapsed as partner approached pit. ECT broke through slab at 12 taps.
