Snowpack probed to 4m without hitting the ground | 2M ECTN 16 @28cm

Test pit dug at treeline.

HS>380cm. Patchy surface hoar throughout this area at 1-2mm.

HS>370cm. No wind loading observed up to 12pm. Winds were slightly increasing at that point. No signs of instability observed.

Test Pit dug in protected treed area to look at storm slab weakness. Wind slabs were forming in more exposed areas and higher elevations. HST=140cm.

High thin clouds throughout area today. 1/11 rain crust found at 6700' but not up to 7200'.

Pit dug in large open are below treeline.
