Recent NE winds have scoured exposed N-E aspects above 9400'. Unconsolidated snow still exists in protected lower elevation areas where snow cover is sufficient.

E Ridge Tamarack Peak

Facets underneath the most recent storm snow appear to be getting larger and weaker. Near surface facets are beginning to develop within the recent storm snow. So far, there is not much of a slab on top of the weak layer.
